Lizzo Shows Off Her Weight Loss as She and Her Mom Rock Matching Braided Hairstyles: She ‘Ate Me Up’

Lizzo and her mom are twins!

On Friday, Nov. 22, the 36-year-old singer showed off her continued weight loss by posting a hilarious Instagram video of her and her mom, Shari Johnson-Jefferson, wearing matching braided hairstyles while on a car ride together.

“My mom stole my hair and ate me 😫,” Lizzo wrote in the description.

In the clip, which was played with sound from The Kardashians Kim Kardashian talks about her sister Kourtney Kardashian copying her, Lizzo posed and modeled two extra long bangs while wearing a white off-the-shoulder dress, shimmery silver eyeshadow and pink blush.

Lizzo then pointed to her mum in the next clip, as she appeared with the same hairstyle while wearing a black and white animal print jacket and red lipstick.

As she pointed the camera at her mom, Johnson-Jefferson could then be seen doing the same.

In an earlier post, Lizzo shared several photos of her new braided hairstyle while posing in what appeared to be the same car.

“Last night I wore milk braids 😝,” the “About Damn Time” singer explained her look in the caption.

Lizzo appeared to strike a few poses in the snaps, as she stuck her tongue out, smiled and winked at the camera.

Lizzo addressed Ozempico’s allegations as she revealed ‘5 months of weight training and a calorie deficit’

The “Special” singer’s latest post comes as she has been documenting her fitness journey on social media in recent months by posting clips of herself working hard at the gym.

The four-time Grammy winner recently shot down rumors about taking Ozempic — an FDA-approved prescription drug for people with type 2 diabetes — to help with weight loss.

Earlier this year, Lizzo posted a video of herself smiling for the camera as she wrote, “When you finally get the Ozempic charges after 5 months of weight training and a caloric deficit,” to the soundtrack of Christoph Waltz’s popular TikTok sound in Django Unchained saying, “It’s like a reward”.
