LOGAN PAUL has been praised for saving WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio from serious injury during their US Championship match at Crown Jewel.
Paul and Mysterio clashed in Saudi Arabia in a bout that saw the YouTube star win his first belt since linking up with the pro wrestling giants two years ago.

The incident occurred when the legendary luchadore jumped off the second rope with a Springboard Moonsault towards his opponent.
However, the three-time world champion jumped a few centimeters from his opponent and almost crashed his head into the mat.
However, Paul showed great ring awareness as he caught the 48-year-old mid-air on his shoulder.
And that was hard to catch as the 28-year-old had to kneel down before finally regaining his balance.
The amateur boxer then returned to action as he took Mysterio down with a Powerslam to restart the match.
The WWE Universe was left in awe and congratulated Paul – who was competing in his eighth all-time wrestling match – for his quick reaction.
One fan tweeted: “He saved Rey’s life.”
Another commented: “Close one.”
A third posted: “I’m taking Logan Paul on it.”
This fan said: “We almost witnessed the end of a WWE legend’s life and Logan Paul to save him. Crazy world.”
And he declared: “Fair play Logan that could have been bad for Rey.”
But there were also those who claimed that it was Paul who almost ruined the place because he was in the wrong position and should have been closer to the ropes.

One fan tweeted: “B******s! He was always meant to be caught, Logan was misplaced for a move and almost caused an injury.”
Another posted: “Clearly he should be close enough to catch or take it. Don’t catch him at the last minute.”
And the third said, “Not really.”
Mysterio, however, also showed his vast 34 years of experience as he looked ready to jump to his hands, which were already touching the mat when his opponent caught him.
Paul won the match in controversial fashion with the use of a boxer.
Knucks was introduced by a member of his entourage who was chased away as Mysterio’s LWO teammate Santos Escobar.
However, Escobar left the item on the ring apron before going after the social media sensation’s associate, hinting at an imminent turn and rivalry with his fellow luka libre great.
