Loki Producer on Whether Jonathan Majors’ Legal Troubles Will Impact Season 2

Jonathan Majors’ arrest and subsequent legal battle came at an inopportune time, given the beginning of his integral role in Loki season 2

In an interview with Diversityshow executive producer Kevin Wright talked about whether Majors’ off-screen legal troubles have any bearing on the upcoming second season of the Disney+ series, which premiered Thursday.

“No. This is maybe – no maybe – this is the first Marvel series that never has additional photos,” explained Wright. “The story that’s on the screen is the story we set out to make. We went out there with a very specific idea of ​​what we wanted this to be and we found a way to tell it in that production period. It’s very much what’s on the screen on Disney+.”

Wright also confirmed that there had been no discussions about changes and additional filming in the new season, adding that “it seemed too hasty to do anything without knowing how this was all going to play out.”
