After the divorce from Lanna, Lou, and Melanie Fewell married. Lou and Melanie together operated Canaan Ranch, which is located near metropolitan Houston, where they grew up and trained dressage horses, and later, they moved from Sugar Land, Texas, to Middleburg, Virginia, and opened a 2nd Canaan Ranch there, but as of 2014, it is up for sale.
More recently, Lou and his family moved to Wellington, Florida, United States of America.
