Actress Louise Fletcher died on September 23 at the age of 88 at her home in Montdurausse, France. On behalf of the Fletcher family, agent David Shaul informed Deadline of her death. However, the cause of death has yet to be revealed, but David reports that she died in the house she created from a 300-year-old farmhouse, surrounded by her family. Fletcher told her family about her house the next day, saying she couldn’t believe she had built something so much needed to her life.
