Love Is Blind Takes on Washington D.C. for Season 7! Meet the Cast, Including the First-Ever Set of Sisters

It’s time to get back into capsules — a whole new season Love is blind is almost here!

On Wednesday, September 18, Netflix announced the cast for Season 7 of its beloved blind date series, which focused on a group of singles based in Washington, DC.

In the teaser, the cast — which includes a series of sisters for the first time — introduces themselves as they reflect on past relationship mishaps, reveal what they’re looking for in a marriage, and admit their attitude toward cats, which seems to be a hot topic in DC’s dating circles.

The cast of singles, who range in age from 27 to 37, cover a wide range of professions – from quantum physicists to art dealers and journalists – but they all have one thing in common: they’re willing to try their hand at an experiment in the hopes of falling in love and getting engaged to a partner, unseen.

Many of the cast members have done outrageous things for their significant others in the past — from Ashley W., 32, who admitted she was the “sole breadwinner” for her boyfriend to Tyler, 34, who paid “someone’s rent who lived hours away from me “, only to find out that she was “cheating” on him the whole time.

Cheating seems to be a common experience among singles, as Taylor, 30, also mentioned a history of cheating and forgiving the person.

Cats are another hot topic. Quantum physicist Garrett (33) is allergic to them, but still dated a woman who kept him as a pet for a year.

Marissa, 32, has two cats and immediately laid down the law. “I don’t like people who hate cats,” said the lawyer. “You have to at least, you know, be neutral about them.”

The singles have also had some crazy ups and downs in their love lives, as Bodhan, 36, recalled a failed date when “a girl came over to cook me steak for dinner and ended up cutting off the tip of her finger.”

As for what they look for in a potential partner, things like independence and paying attention to the little things come to mind. “I want someone who remembers my likes and dislikes and takes my feelings into account,” Nina, 32, said, while Nick D., 29, said he doesn’t “want someone who’s going to latch on to me somehow . ”

The cast were also asked what they would call this chapter if their love life was a book, with Monica, 37, saying, “‘Holy shit,’ because this is so crazy,” while Tara, 29, said, “‘Bland.’ But now it’s getting exciting, so… ‘Mild but exciting'”

According to the streamer’s official synopsis, “singles make deep and immediate connections” this season, “setting the stage for an unexpected journey full of twists, turns and shocking revelations that will test each relationship well after the participants leave the groups for the real world.”
