A source said: “Ciaran immediately caught the eye of Love Island bosses.
“He’s gorgeous with a fit athletic build that will drive the girls in the mansion wild, but he’s also a nice boy-next-door from Wales.
“He’s the kind of guy you could happily take home to your mum.
“He has been in talks with bosses for weeks and is due to travel to a villa in Mallorca in the next week.
“It’s not clear at this point if he’s one of the OG cast or a bomb, but he’s a favorite of the casting team and is sure to make a big impression on viewers.”
The Sun has contacted an ITV spokesperson for comment.
We’ve revealed that series 11 will start on Monday, June 3.
Maya Jama will return as the host, and she looked red-hot in the first official trailer for the series.
She could be seen wearing a silver boilersuit and chunky black heels while holding a huge flamethrower.
The TV beauty declared: “Where there’s love there’s fire” as Donna Summer’s Hot Stuff played – followed by the iconic Love Island jingle.

Bosses expect the new run to be the best yet, building on the legacy of the franchise.
Mike Spencer, creative director of Lifted Entertainment, said: “Love Island is back and viewers are in for a big treat this summer as we have a mansion full of sexy singles traveling to Majorca, all looking for the one.
“We plan to amp up the heat of this series with brand new format elements, an incredible group of Islanders and an Insta-worthy mansion that provides the most beautiful backdrop for their summer of love.
“Brace yourself for love series 11.”
Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning and Acquisitions and Controller, ITV2, ItvBe said: “Following the hugely successful ‘All Stars’ version this winter, we’re delighted to be returning to the iconic Mallorcan villa for another summer season of the biggest reality show on television .
“After 10 series, I’m happy to say that this year’s cast of The Islanders is as amazing as ever and I can’t wait to see the fun and drama they’ll bring to what will be a somewhat revamped series.”

One move that is sure to delight fans is the return of sister series Aftersun.
The popular program was interrupted due to the All Stars series in South Africa, but will return in the summer.
An insider said: “Logistically, it makes sense to bring it back too as Maya stayed in Cape Town for the entire All Stars run, while she will be flying back and forth between the villa in Majorca where the summer series is filmed and London where Aftersun is filming.
“Producers are already contacting agents to book guests for the first few shows of the new series when it returns in June.”
Love Island is set to be another summer hit for ITV, with previous series already racking up a staggering three hundred million streams on ITVX.
The recent run of All Star remains the biggest digital program of the year to date, attracting the largest commercial 16-34 audience to date with 1.4 million pairs of eyeballs.
The moving episode of All Stars also drew more than 3.4 million viewers.
