Love Island couple SPLIT just weeks after the series ends as they struggle to make it work

LOVE Island’s Grace Jackson and Reuben Collins have split – just over two weeks after the series ended.

The stunning model, 25, and footballer, who were kicked out of the villa ahead of the final, have struggled to make it in the real world thanks to their conflicting, busy schedules.

A source close to the couple said: “Grace and Reuben have mutually decided that a romantic relationship is not right for either of them at this time.

“Grace wishes Reuben the best and vice versa. They will remain friends and have no ill feelings towards each other.”

The insider added: “They’ve both been very busy since leaving the mansion and the long distance has been hard on both of them.”

Grace lives in Manchester, while Reuben lives in London.

Grace was a very successful model before entering the villa, and since leaving the show, she has been inundated with offers.

The couple were seen looking in love last week as they attended a film premiere together.

They built up a huge following during their stay at the villa over the summer – as they bonded after a rocky few weeks for Grace.

The blonde beauty initially made her bombshell debut on Day 12 and immediately reconnected with her ex-lover Joey Essex.

The couple was briefly in a relationship last summer.

Things were going well, but then Jessy Potts walked into the mansion and Joey kicked Grace because of her.

Grace then decided to move on by teaming up with Blade Sidiqui after Casa Amor, but decided to just be friends.

Things then began to blossom between her and Reuben – and the pair left the mansion very happy and looking to the future, despite being kicked out as part of a cruel game.

Speaking to The Sun after her exit, Grace said: “Whether I got through to the final or not, I was really pleased to be there.

“I think I finally found what I was looking for. I enjoy my time with Reuben so much. So whether that meant I left when I left or made it to the finals, it wasn’t a big deal in that sense.

“I found what I wanted so I was happy to leave at any time.”

She said their romance is going ‘very well’ and revealed their plans for the future, saying: “We are planning a date night. I’m also going to meet the rest of his family. They will come to see my friends and family and they will just make it.

“He’s London, I’m Manchester. But I hope to move to London soon.

“I’m really excited to be with him on the outside.”

Since then, fans have been watching their every move desperately to see if they’ll stay together – but noticed they’ve been spending time apart as they settle back into their lives.
