This twist features 12 new singles to shake up the dynamic between couples.
During Monday’s (July 1) episode, Wil Anderson, 23,’s unusual choice left fans at home upset.
The 6ft 4in quantity surveyor, from Whitley Bay, joined the line-up as a bombshell on Day 12.
Towards the end of Monday’s episode, Wil chatted with Casa Amor newcomer Lucy Graybill – who previously said she was among the islanders she had her eye on.
However, viewers were left confused after Wil decided to keep his shoes on after joining Lucy in the pool.
Moving on to X, one wrote: “Couldn’t stop getting annoyed that Wil wears his shoes in the pool,” adding a “puke face” emoticon.
Another added: “Wil wears his shoes in the pool!”
As well as his stint on the ITV hit, it emerged that Wil already had a claim to fame, as the brother of Newcastle United midfielder Elliot Anderson.
He has also amassed an impressive social media presence, with the islander boasting over 31,000 followers on Instagram.
Speaking previously to ITV about his love life and why he’s single, the lad said: “Having made up my mind, I could definitely be in a relationship if I wanted to.

“I’m very picky, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing because it’s worth the wait to get exactly what you’re looking for.”
Wil is currently in a relationship with 23-year-old Uma Jammeh from Islington, London.
Meanwhile, Liv Hawkins – who starred in the ninth series – brutally hit the bombshells from men’s Casa Amor.
Commenting on the Casa Amor star’s announcement, Liv, 29, wrote: “Then this season none of the girls will be giving wild speeches…”
