Love Island USA's Hannah Smith Arrested on 2 Felony Charges, Including 'Terroristic Threats'

Island of love USA star Hannah Smith was arrested on two felony charges after allegedly threatening and attempting to hit a police officer.

The incident occurred on Sept. 30, when the Charlotte native — who appeared on Season 6 of the reality series — was escorted out of an Atlanta concert hall for disorderly conduct, according to police records, as reported by TMZ and The Sun of the USA.

After she left the hall, an officer tried to help Smith get into an Uber when she allegedly tried to punch them but did not make contact, media reported.

The officer proceeded to arrest the reality star, who then repeatedly tried to kick them while handcuffed, according to the outlets. While being transported to the jail, Smith also allegedly threatened to kill both the officer and the officer’s sister on multiple occasions.

Smith quickly became a favorite contestant in Season 6 Island of love USA but he did not stay long in the mansion.

After brief relationships with Kendall Washington and Hakeem White, she tried to start a romance with another contestant, Miguel Harichi. After choosing to pair up with Olivia “Liv” Walker instead, Smith became the first girl of the season to be kicked off the island.

Reflecting on her exit from a series of dates with Today in June, Smith said that Harichi “was so flirtatious and kept everything to himself.”

“He didn’t let anyone know who he chose,” she told the newspaper. “I was very shocked that he chose Liv, as she herself was shocked… I thought maybe I had a chance, but apparently I was wrong,” she added.

Also referring to her brief time associated with Washington, Smith said Today“I’m actually really happy that me and Kendall ended up getting to know each other and hook up with each other because we had so much in common. With me and him, we were like a silly couple in a villa.”

“We had so much fun and I really got to know him,” she continued. “And I can honestly say that Kendall is a great guy. He is so honest. Even though we didn’t end up together and our relationship didn’t last as long as I wanted it to, I have nothing bad to say about him.”
