Love Island's Toby and Georgia S in shock split just one month after making the final

LOVE Island All Stars couple Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran have split – just a month after the series ended.

The couple, who dated briefly before the show, made it to the finals, but were rocked by doubts from fans and even their fellow residents.

Georgia in particular caused a backlash after hooking up with Toby – but the pair insisted they would defy critics.

However, sources tell us they struggled to make it work again, despite their history, which Georgia has spoken about often.

An insider said: “It is true that they have split up. It was Toby who finished, and it came completely out of the blue for Georgia. He feels completely blindsided and exhausted. She thought things were going really well for them, so it was quite a blow.”

The Sun has reached out to a Georgia representative for comment.

Making the final

Georgia and Toby, who constantly used the phrase ‘fortune favors the brave’, finished fourth on the show.

During their declarations of love, Toby told her: “I feel like the way we’ve progressed here, I don’t think it compares.

“We’ve been through so much in different ways that people can’t even imagine…a bond that I feel is so strong and cemented that nothing can bring us down…”

The couple left the mansion ‘under lock and key’ but Toby admitted he wanted to wait until he met Georgia’s parents and vice versa before asking her to be his girlfriend.

A rocky road to romance

Toby and Georgia had a roller coaster ride at the mansion.

They initially had a spark on Love Island Games, but it fizzled out.

They rekindled their romance on All Stars, but Toby backed out and said he wanted to explore other relationships.

Georgia was annoyed, but ended up hooking up with Callum, as well as Tom Clare briefly, before Toby changed his mind and took her back.

He dumped Arabella, who he was with at the time, and Georgia left Callum – which upset viewers.

Fears for the future

After leaving the villa, Georgia told us she feared the intense backlash and trolling she received would spell the end of her romance with Toby.

The star – who has made the decision to step back from her social media – admitted: “I was a bit worried that all the hate was going to affect our relationship. I thought, ‘I hope Toby doesn’t read this, I hope it doesn’t affect how he feels about me.'”

And discussing the status of their relationship, she revealed: “We’re not official yet. We are still ‘locked’.

“I like it that way right now. I want to embrace our time together outside and have fun. I think he’s definitely going in that direction, I couldn’t imagine him without him in my life, but I just want to not put pressure on it.”
