The teen from Yorkshire had been dreaming of a “bucket list” garden that the ITV team were able to help create.

Harri’s cancer battle was discussed in detail on the show after it was revealed that the teen had already lost one of his legs in his brave battle against the terrible disease.

In another heartbreaking blow, less than two weeks after being given the all-clear and marking the momentous occasion with the “ringing of the bell”, Harri and his family were left floored when it was confirmed his cancer had returned.

Doctors told the youngster that his osteosarcoma cancer was back and had now spread to other parts of his body quickly.

Harri was told his cancer was terminal.

Recalling the horror moment, Harri’s mum Erika, from Hull, told Alan: “They told us we don’t think his leg will be saveable.

“He got the all clear and rang the bell, but two weeks later the cancer had spread.”

Discussing his life expectancy, Harri said to Alan: “They say between three and 12 months.”

He went onto add: “I was more worried about my family than myself and what they would have to come to terms with.

“It’s about making the most of life, even if you have a condition or cancer, you have to live everyday like you’re dying.

“That’s how you have to live your life.”

Alan then remarked to the cameras: “Harri has created a bucket list and on it is something very special.

“He wants a garden to spend ‘whatever time he’s got left’ with his mum”.

Alan and the team then created a stunning garden transformation.

It featured a pond and an area for wildlife as well as a unique outdoor cinema and a pizza oven.

Alan even added a section for planting a tree after Harri confessed that was on his bucket list.

The family could not believe their eyes when they saw the garden for the first time.

The episode was first broadcast in February 2020 and was repeated this week.

Harri died in March 2020.

ITV confirmed the tragic news at the end of the episode with an announcement saying:  “And we’re very sad to say that since this programme was made, teenager Harri has passed away.”

Commenting on brave Harri, one viewer said: “What a remarkable lad Harri was. I am in awe of people like him.”

Another added: “Watching #loveyourgarden didn’t realise it was going to be a repeat. I remember this one, he’s such a brave lad…”

As a third penned: “Didn’t see this first time round but already it’s very moving.”

Upon seeing the final product, Harri said: “Wow. It looks like someone else’s garden. It’s magic! It’s not slippery either.

“That’s fantastic. I’m speechless really. It’s gonna make a massive difference.

“This is gonna be kind of an escape area for me, it’s like I’m somewhere else.
