THE OMJENI high street chain with 850 stores worldwide is reportedly preparing for a big return to the UK.
The franchise closed its last permanent branch in 2015, but after a series of successful pop-up stores, it will once again make its mark in the country.

Known for the production of ice cream of the highest quality, the shop has been a franchiser since 1976 – in more than 40 countries.
Its departure from the UK left thousands dismayed, but now Häagen-Dazs is making an iconic comeback.
The infamous ice cream retailer has finally announced that it will relaunch its ice cream shops across the UK, focusing on the greater London area as the first step in 2024.
After closing its Leicester Square branch in 2015, Häagen-Dazs has occasionally returned to London to open pop-up stores.

At the time, the company confirmed the closure on Twitter – adding that “alternative locations are being explored”.
Consumers in the UK went berserk, with many ice cream lovers taking to social media to demand the return of their favorite brand.
One user wrote: “At least one UK store please? At least one!”
Another added: “This is a lie, 3 years later and you have closed ALL your UK stores!! What is going on and where is the nearest Haagen Dazs Cafe to me in London UK????”
While a third said: “It’s 2021 and yes we want the cafe back !!!”
Now the beloved brand is ready to expand its franchise further.
It aims to open at least 25 stores in the UK over the next five years.
Executives want to contract with multi-unit franchises with a love for high-quality products and a passion for customer service.
Häagen-Dazs says it is passionate about three key things.
These are: “Continuing to strengthen our reputation for excellence.
“Providing our customers with the best ice cream in the world.
“And by providing our franchisees with exceptional support and successful opportunities.”
Successful franchise partners should have passion for the brand, operational experience in the sector, relevant real estate experience, operational capability and commitment to running multiple stores.
UK consumers have historically been avid fans of the brand.
Just last week, shoppers were seen flocking to Morrisons in droves to get their hands on the brand’s latest treats.
So far, customers have spotted two candy flavors in stores, chocolate bites and salted caramel bites.
You can grab a box of eight 16ml bites for £4 in stores.
And there was outrage when the brand downsized its family tubs.
In 2019, Häagen-Dazs reduced the content from 500ml to 460ml according to customer preferences, including vanilla, chocolate and Belgian chocolate – but kept the price the same.
The company said in a statement that it was an “absolute last resort,” but customers have been nothing but impressed.
