Relationships, husbands and children

From 1981 to 1982, she dated Argentinian football player Diego Maradona. Speaking about her relationship with Maradona, she said,

I think we were both in love. We were both very young and in awe of each other. It was a very childish thing. It wasn’t the love of my life, but it was a love that lasted a long time for me and it was a serious relationship. Later, we broke up because we couldn’t maintain it because of the distance and our respective situations. We had good communication at that time, Claudia didn’t come and I often went to his house. I left him because we often quarreled. Some people don’t like to be rejected for certain things. Besides, he planned to go back to Claudia, get married and start his own family. “
