Ludacris Says His Daughters Don’t Roast His Bold Outfits: They're 'Used to' It (Exclusive)

Ludacris is known for his experimental fashion choices.

Throughout his career, the multi-hyphenated star, 47, has rocked a variety of styles that go along with his many titles (rapper, actor, State Farm spokesperson, cool dad). And he says that his four daughters are so “used” to him wearing different kinds of clothes, that they don’t even look at them anymore.

“Maybe they’ll see me dressing up for a character in a movie, and then they’ll see me on stage with a different outfit. Then they’ll see me getting dressed for a date night. Next thing you know, I’m seen in a State Farm commercial wearing giant boots. It’s like I’m everywhere. It’s so diverse that I can’t make fun of any one thing,” he tells PEOPLE.

Ludacris is father to Chance, 3, and Cadence, 9 (whom he shares with wife Eudoxie Bridges), and Cai, 10, and Karma, 23 (who are from his previous relationships).

Ludacris Reflects On His Love Story With Watches While Starring In Movado’s New Icons Campaign (Exclusive)

While talking to PEOPLE earlier this month about his embassy in Movado, Fast and furious star reflected on the ways in which his fashion sense has matured from his rocking “baggy clothes” in the 2000s to now hitting the red carpet in dressier suits (but, of course, his wardrobe still includes statement pieces).

“I’m constantly on the move. I am constantly developing. They say you will disappear if you don’t evolve. You have a core element of things you’ve been doing all the time, but you’re also trying new things,” he explained.

He also applies the same empowering philosophy to his parenting style.

In an interview from July 2023 Kinship by parentsLudacris said he hopes to instill confidence in his girls by guiding them to “understand their intelligence, their beauty and their purpose here in the world and that each of them can be different … and that they come from a strong lineage of women and heritage.”
