He said: “It’s crazy. I was happy to win one game, and now I could go all the way.”

Luke, from Warrington, Cheshire, takes home £500,000 if he wins the Ally Pally showdown.

More than two million spectators are now expected to watch his showdown at a sold-out Alexandra Palace.

Luke The Nuke was all smiles after beating Rob Cross, 33, six sets to two in the semi-final — hitting triple 20 and double 10 to seal victory.

He said: “It’s crazy. I was happy to win one game, but I really could have gone all the way. Here I am in the final.

“I settled on that stage. When I find that rhythm after the first few stages, I’m ready.”

Asked what he would do now that he had entered the final, he added: “I’ll just keep doing what I’ve been doing. In the morning I’ll go for an omelette with ham and cheese, later for pizza and then exercise.”

Luke has already pocketed £200,000 in prize money after a brilliant display last night.

That’s enough to buy 28,500 of his favorite celebratory snack — a doner kebab with lettuce and mayonnaise.

But if he does lift the Sid Waddell trophy, he says he wants to treat friends to a night out in Blackpool or a day at Alton Towers.

Luke, the first 16-year-old to win the PDC World Darts Championship, has been on a fairytale run that has seen him beat childhood heroes including the Netherlands’ Raymond van Barneveld.

He won the first set, but remained calm and composed and showed consistently high points.

He will once again be cheered on by his parents Antony and Lisa — as well as the 300,000 fans who now follow him on Instagram.

Among them are West Ham and England star Jarrod Bowen.

Meanwhile, James Maddison invited Luke to watch Spurs and posed for photos with Arsenal’s Declan Rice.

Luke, from Warrington, Cheshire, is hoping for a call-up to his beloved Manchester United.

Another support at Ally Pally is Luke’s girlfriend of six weeks, 21-year-old Eloise Milburn from Hersham, Surrey.

She plays for her county’s women’s team and was introduced by a friend – but internet trolls accused her of being a gold digger.

Mum Amanda said: “A lot of horrible things have been published. She doesn’t care about his money or fame, she’s with him because she likes him. It’s that simple.”

Luke’s grandmother Carol Littler said she plans to travel to the finals. She said: “We were down there watching it on Saturday but we had to come back.

“We are so proud of him. He puts so much effort into it and always practices. It’s not easy for him to be away from home, but he loves it and he loves darts. We all know how good he is, but we didn’t expect him to go so fast because he’s so young.

“He only passed his GCSEs last summer but he has an old head and is mature for his age. We dream of him winning and we think he will.”

Luka’s neighbor said: “He is a calm boy. I saw him on television and I couldn’t believe it.”

Another added: “Great to see a lad from Warrington doing so well.”
