Los Cadetes de Linares was founded by Homero Guerrero in 1960 in Linares, Nuevo Leon, and began performing at various events, family gatherings, and schools. In 1961, Adan Moreno joined them as an accordionist and they began performing in Linares. After Moreno’s departure in 1967, Samuel Zapata joined the group, followed by Candelario Villareal in 1968.
