LYNNE Marta has died aged 78 after living with cancer.
Lynne was known for her role as Lulu Warnicker in the 1984 version of Footloose opposite Kevin Bacon.

She also appeared in the movie Joe Kidd.
The actress died at her home in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She is survived by her sister MJ and her cat Mr. Peaches.
Lynne has appeared in several notable television shows including ER, Days of Our Lives, The Young and the Restless, Law & Order and even Starsky and Hutch.
In 1983, People noted that Starsky and Hutch star David Soul had an “open relationship” with her after his marriage collapsed.
They reportedly lived together, although they would see other people outside of their relationship.
On Facebook, those who will remember Lynne wrote messages of condolence.
Her friend Joan Sobel wrote: “We lost a beautiful light today.
“My friend, Lynne Marta lost the good fight.”
She continued: “Incredibly talented actress and beautiful singer whose voice was angelic.
“A dear heart who adored his friends both human and furry. I will miss him terribly.”
CLOSE TO DANGER
In 1989, actress Rebecca Schaeffer was murdered by an obsessive fan named Robert John Bardo – and Lynne was in the hallway of her apartment when it happened.
As a witness to the event, Lynne was the person who called 911 after hearing the gunshot, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.
She said then: “The door was shaking, the wall was shaking.
“The cat blew up. I fell to my knees and crawled into the bedroom.
“That’s when I heard Rebecca’s first scream.”
Lynne continued: “She was still screaming when I spoke to 911.
“By the time I got to the door, she was wailing. I opened the small opening in the door.
“There was a smell I’ll never forget: the smell of gunfire. It was quiet except for a faint groan.”
