Madelaine Petsch Has a Riverdale Reunion with Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes at Strangers Premiere: 'My Girls'

Madelaine Petsch is still in contact with her Riverdale costars!

Petsch, 29, was joined by Camila Mendes and Lili Reinhart at the film’s Los Angeles premiere Strangers: Chapter 1 on Wednesday, May 8.

The upcoming horror film, which hits theaters on Friday, May 17, stars Petsho and Froy Gutierrez as a couple whose vacation goes awry when their small-town car breaks down. The first film in the franchise premiered in 2008, followed by 2018. Strangers: Prey of the Night.

The movie star gushed about her former co-stars supporting her next venture in a sweet Instagram post that showed the trio smiling from ear to ear on the red carpet and sharing a hug.

“I feel so incredibly lucky to see my girls go through every chapter of life. Strangers premieres May 17th only in theaters!!!!! 🩶🩶,” Petsh wrote, also adding in the comments section, “happiest girl ever 🥹 .”

In the photos, Petsh is seen wearing a sexy low-cut black Diesel dress. Mendes (29) chose a nude Altuzarra midi dress, while Reinhart (27) wore an elegant black dress.

Mendes and Reinhart continued their support in the comments section, writing “love you guys 🥹” and “❤️my love ❤️.”

Another of their former co-stars, Marisol Nichols, also left a sweet comment that read: “I think one of my greatest joys on set was watching you bond and grow together. Congrats Mads ❤️❤️❤️.”

Riverdale came to a conclusion after seven seasons on Aug. 23, 2023. In February, PEOPLE spoke with Mendes, who opened up about continuing her “lit” group chat with Petsch and Reinhart.

“No, it’s not even like… It’s not spicy. We’re all more comfortable speaking up about things that worry us or saying, ‘Hey, have you experienced this too?’ Like, we really rely on each other, especially when we’re coming out of this phase of our lives,” she said. “We’re all kind of going through the same anxieties at the same time and it’s really nice to have people who relate to you through and through.”
