Madison Bailey and Madelyn Cline Break Through The Bund Part 3

Screen Rant: Is this season still filming in Charleston? Even the finale?

Madison Bailey: That was mostly shot in Barbados. We shot in Barbados and split the time between the two.

Do you have to go back and forth?

Madelyn Cline: We kept going back and forth.

Madison Bailey: Back and forth, back and forth, that’s it.

We have to talk about Kiara and JJ. They finally became a couple and they’ve been best friends for a long time, so do you think they’ve always had some sort of affection for each other?

Madison Bailey: In a way, that’s for sure. I don’t think it’s necessarily out of nowhere. Being on the island made them realize that life is short. Act now or never, you know?

We didn’t get to meet many of them after the time jump. Can you confirm they are still together? do you know?

Madison Bailey: I think that’s a bit vague. I have no idea. We will wait and see. I think there’s a lot to explore in this 18-month period and I can’t wait to get involved. Hopefully we can participate next season.

When Sarah is with John B, she finds herself attracted to Topper again. It’s a bit like season 2 – when she and John B get into a fight, she’s attracted to Topper again. Do you think she has real feelings for him?

Madelyn Cline: For me, the last thing that sums up Sarah’s whole story is after she found a new family with the Pogues and her relationship with John B. She sacrificed everything and She lost a lot in the process and in this new life she was chosen for. So when she feels like she’s been kicked out, like many people, they go back to what feels familiar; what feels comfortable. That’s what she does. A part of her may still be grieving the loss of old friends, the comfort of her old life. So for me, that’s it.

The Bund Part 3 Ward Cameron

How do you think Sarah felt about her father in his final moments? After all, he sacrificed himself for her.

Madeleine Klein: He did. This is really a character choice that Chip has made. I think it’s really, really poetic and very tragic. The person he appeared to Sarah was his last. Honestly, that was the only time he did anything. He’d always had ulterior motives, but this time, it was purely for saving her life, but he died for it. I think that’s the right way to end it.

What is Kiara’s relationship with her parents? They send her to a wilderness camp, but they believe they are doing the right thing. Do you think they’ll end up being more accepting of her lifestyle?

Madison Bailey: Maybe. I think it’s an almost unforgivable thing, but if you can forgive anyone, it’s your parents. So maybe some problems can be solved through that. I think this season is where they build trust and what will happen [Episode] 9 is just Kiara’s ultimate betrayal and distrust. I hope they rebuild it because severing your parents in any capacity is not easy.

Before you read the final script, I’d love to know where you think the story will go. Do you think Pogues will actually find gold?

Madeline Klein: I don’t know. I don’t think about anything. I don’t think about anything. I’m just waiting for the script to come out. I have no idea. I don’t guess.

Madison Bailey: Predicting the next episode is hard, even for us. It’s hard to know where we’re going.

Looking back on this season, is there a moment that stands out to each of you? Was it while filming or actually seeing it on screen?

Madeline Klein: Peo. The kiss of the Pope and Cleo.

Madison Bailey: Oh, Peo! I’ve been a huge fan of Pope and Cleo throughout the season. I support them.

Madeleine Klein: I know. I love it.

The Bund Part 3 Big John and Carla Librey

After losing its gold and escaping from the Outer Banks, season 3 finds the Pogues family washed up on a beach on a deserted island that, for a moment, appears to be an idyllic home. Officially known as “Poguelandia”, the island’s new residents spend their days fishing, swimming and enjoying a leisurely lifestyle in their makeshift abodes.

But things quickly take a turn for the worse when John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, JJ, and Cleo once again find themselves embroiled in a race for treasure, literally running for their lives. They’re broke, far from home, unable to trust anyone, Ward and Rafe yearning for revenge, and a ruthless Caribbean Don who won’t go to any lengths to earn his bounty. Is the treasure within reach? Or is it all about stopping their trap once and for all? Either way, it’s Pogues against the world – and the only way out is to unite.
