Married at first sightBecca worries that she has exhausted her efforts to spark greater intimacy with her husband, Austin.
In an exclusive sneak peek of Wednesday’s episode of the Lifetime series, Becca admits she struggles with the lack of intimacy she’s been getting from Austin. Despite her best efforts, she fears the couple will “run out of options” when it comes to new ways to foster a romantic relationship.
“I know Austin means well and I know he’s committed to me. But it’s hard when you keep pushing things and then you keep facing rejection,” she says in the confessional. – I’m running out of ideas.
“I’m running out of ways to connect that separate us from a friendship, from a romantic relationship, that are ways that he’s comfortable with that still meet my needs,” she adds. – It seems as if we are running out of avenues.

Season 17 of Married at first sight followed the journeys of Emily and Brennan, Clara and Cameron, Becca and Austin, and Lauren and Orion as they tied the knot and honeymooned before moving in together.
The season was not without drama as Lauren and Orion had already split, and Michael, who was left at the altar by a mysterious bride, was given a second chance at marriage with newcomer Chloe.
At the end of the eight-week social experiment, the couples will have to make a decision whether they want to stay married and start a future together or divorce. Throughout the experience, couples received guidance from Pastor Cal, Dr. Pepper, and Dr. Pia who provided expert advice and support as they navigated their journey of love.
