Mahmoud Chowdhury was born on Thursday, July 28, 1988 (33 years old in 2021) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. His full name is Mahmoud Yunus Chowdhury. Mahmoud received his primary formal education in the city of Abu Dhabi and later moved to the United Kingdom for further studies. He graduated from Durham University in the United Kingdom with a degree in law.

On November 27, 2020, Mahmood Chaudhry married Bakhtawar Bhutto, daughter of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto Zardari, in a private wedding at the “Bilawal House” in Karachi. On January 29, 2021, the two had a private wedding.
On October 10, 2021, the couple was blessed with a baby boy.
