The process of losing 25 kilograms was supervised by a team of medical professionals who regularly monitored her heart rate and administered blood tests. Williams explained that most of her weight loss was precipitated by sweating out the liquid right before the shoot.

“I had to get up at 4 a.m. to start sweating. The night before, around 7 or 8 p.m., I was allowed to eat something salty and dehydrating—some smoked salmon and a small glass of wine,” Williams recalled. “Then I had a boiling bath with lots of salt. I kind of floated into bed and slept for maybe three hours, then woke up and ate a handful of walnuts.”
