Drake may have asked fans to throw their underwear at him on stage, but it doesn’t appear that Maluma was asking for what was thrown at him during a recent performance.
Fan footage that has recently surfaced features the Colombian star Don Juan At the opening of the world tour in Sacramento on August 31, someone from the crowd threw a crutch at the singer (29) while he was singing on the Golden 1 Center stage.
As filmed by audience members, the crutch rushed towards the performer as he sang his 2022 song “Mojando Asientos”. While standing at the edge of the stage in front of a blown-up dog resembling his pet Buddha, the object flew towards the “COCO LOCO” artist until he caught it with one free hand.

Although the singer seemed visibly confused when he caught the item, he quickly made light of the situation by picking it up and holding it like a baseball bat with a grin. Soon after, the cameraman (whose real name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias) continued to sing a song about Feid, continuing to lean on the medical equipment and brazenly dance with it.
The incident happened on the first night of the rapper/singer’s North American leg Don Juan World tour. The 30-city tour, which is framed around his alter ego “Don Juan” and in support of his self-titled 2023 album, will continue through early November.

The stars who asked fans to seriously stop throwing things at them during performances
The incident at the start of the tour makes Maluma the latest artist in a string of similar events to have an unusual object thrown at them while on stage.
During the performance, Pink was given a wheel of cheese and even the ashes that belonged to a fan’s late mother; a drink was thrown in Cardi B’s face after she asked to be “sprinkled”; and fuzzy objects hit Harry Styles, Kelsea Ballerina and Latt.
Bebe Rexha needed medical attention after being hit in the face with a cell phone during a concert in July. The pop singer, 34, was injured and had to be stitched up, which led to the arrest of the man who threw the phone at her.
Many artists, including Adele, Charlie Puth, Billie Eilish and Finneas, among others, have since spoken out about the phenomenon, pointing out how dangerous it is and asking fans to behave better.
