Man Hilariously Catches Wife Who ‘Gave Up Shopping’ for Lent at Target: ‘Cheating on the Lord’

A husband caught his wife in the act as she broke her no shopping rule for Lent.

In a TikTok video posted Friday, internet personality Kevin Cooney shared the moment he learned his wife Ashley was shopping at Target after she vowed to give up the activity during the holy period.

“You’re cheating on the master out here… @target please escort my wife from all locations she’s a flight risk,” Cooney wrote in his caption.

In the video, which has amassed 3.8 million views, Cooney explained: “So my wife has given up her Lent shopping and I think she forgot we share locations. I see it’s inside the target, so let’s see what the hell is going on here.”

“She must be here,” he said then as he sniffed around for his wife, before finding her looking at the pillows in one of the aisles.

“What are we doing?” Cooney asked facing his wife. “What is… what are you?”

Ashley was then seen immediately dropping the pillows she was holding in shock as she asked her husband: “Why are you here?”

“Why do your here?” Cooney replied, before she jokingly replied, “Honey! I work here now.”
