One man accepts his wife’s new role as breadwinner with open arms.
In a TikTok shared Friday by the couple who followed the DeMillonaires online, husband Garrett showed how much he appreciates his wife bringing home the bacon.
Very aptly set to Hall and Oates’ 1976 hit song “Rich Girl,” Garrett films himself jokingly pulling his wife Syd out of bed to wake her up for work in the morning, brushing her teeth for her, tying her hair in a ponytail, feeding her cereal and giving her lunch before she left for her job as a nurse.
Finishing him off hard, Garrett starts Syd’s car for her and runs down the block waving as she goes to work.

“Technically I’m not making any money, but someone’s got to keep the house together while she’s gone 💪🏼,” he wrote in the caption, referring to his current time in grad school.
Fans of the internet couple have taken a lot of notice of Garrett’s new role as “house husband.”

“My wife is BLACK so I relate. I try to make the queen of the house as happy as possible. Buy her a foot massager as a present,” another interjected. “Trust me.”
