At the age of 17, Mana met Suniel Shetty, a famous Indian actor, at the Pastry Palace on Nepean Sea Road in Mumbai. Suniel was not an actor at that time. Suniel fell in love with her at first sight. In order to get closer to Mana, he first made friends with Mana’s sister. Sunil then asked a mutual friend of Mana to host a party and invited Mana to attend. Mana and Suniel became good friends at the party and after the party, they went on a bicycle trip together. The two were in a relationship for nearly 9 years and tied the knot on Wednesday, December 25, 1991. They had to wait for 9 years because their parents did not agree to inter-faith marriage.

She started her career with the brand Mana & Isha, which she co-owns with her sister Isha. She owns a real estate company, S2 Realty and Developers, and her company has built 21 luxury villas in Mumbai, each with an area of 6,500 square feet.
