Professional Kabaddi League
Maninder Singh made his professional Kabaddi League debut in 2014 with Jaipur Pink Panthers and won the maiden Pro Kabaddi League title. Maninder has been the best raider this season, racking up 130 raid points in just 16 games. He missed the next three seasons due to injury and had to withdraw from the Pro Kabaddi League.
In the fifth season, he played for the Bengal Warriors. He scored 190 points in his comeback season. Maninder was retained by the Bengal Warriors due to his enigmatic performance in Season 5. Maninder Singh played for the Bengal Warriors in seasons 6, 7 and 8.
In the seventh season, the team did not make PO Surjeet Singh the captain, although he has been the captain for the past two seasons. Instead, they chose Manid as their new captain. In the match against Patna Pirates, Manid emerged as the second-quickest attacker behind Pardeep Narwal. Even though Maninder did not play a single match, Bengal Warriors defeated Dabang Delhi at the Arena to win their first PKL title. In the 8th season of the 2021-22 Professional Kabaddi League, Manid was once again selected as the captain of the Bengal Warriors. In the game against U Mumba, he achieved a special score of 17 raid points, contributing 100% of the team’s raid points. Bengal Warriors retain Manid as captain in Pro Kabaddi League Season 9.

- Manid’s father played kabaddi and taught him how to play the game. He first played a kabaddi game called ‘Circle Kabaddi’ in his village, which is played by many people in Punjab and Haryana. Paramjit Singh, a coach with the Punjab Police, later helped him get more information. This made him want to make playing kabaddi a job.
- The highlight of his career was when Jaipur Pink Panthers invited him to try out for their team. He took a bus from his village to attend the trials.
- His jersey number for the Bengal Warriors is No. 9.
- In the first season of the Pro Kabaddi League, Maninder Singh scored 130 points in 16 games. No one from his team Jaipur Pink Panthers scored more runs than that season.
