Maria Libri, 31, is a famous journalist, writer, model and actress who has just been engaged to Chris Kattan. The couple will soon exchange vows. On March 27, Kattan announced her marriage proposal on Instagram. He posted several photos and claimed that the proposal took place during Wilco’s concert in Chicago. Kattan added that Maria’s favorite song, I’m the Man Who Loves You, was played after the marriage proposal, despite the fact that the performance was interrupted by lead vocalist Jeff Tweedy. Then he said:
“Thanks to Wilco, Jeff and everyone else who helped make this amazing moment a reality.” I will be forever grateful. Maria, I admire you.”
In an interview with People, Kattan said the reason their relationship lasted was because of their differences. Kattan notes that he and Libri accept each other as they are:
“I knew I was in trouble when I saw her and spent time with her a few months after we first met and realized that our creative brains were also perfectly aligned (later the first sketch we made together)!” Luckily for me, she feels the same way.”

Maria Libri was previously a reporter for Fox News and a presenter for many Midwestern television stations. She graduated from the University of Illinois Springfield, where she majored in psychology although she initially studied communications. She attended the same school for a master’s degree in human services, but decided to drop out after the birth of her second child. She has also served as a spokesperson and model for many companies. He currently lives in Springfield, Illinois. She has over 2,000 followers on Instagram, and her profile identifies her as a screenwriter and mother of three.

Relationship between Chris Kattan and Maria Libri
Chris Kattan and Maria Libri first met on a comedy tour in 2021, when the latter wanted to interview Chris. Libri tells PEOPLE about their first meeting:
“From the moment we met, we felt comfortable with each other. Call it weird, mysterious or magical, but it’s as if we’ve known each other since our past lives. “After our first day together, I just learned (though I don’t know how) that my life will never be the same after I met Chris.”
Kattan and Maria Libri went public with their romance in February 2022 when Kattan posted a photo of him and Maria smiling for the camera. Libri told the Springfield Journal-Register that she and Kattan are currently in love and that Chris will see her often.
