Mariah Carey recently visited the White House to spread some holiday cheer!
The self-proclaimed Queen of Christmas, 54, took her 12-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, out to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave for the joyous affair.
“Last week I had the pleasure of meeting with President Biden and Vice President Harris at the White House to celebrate the holiday season!” the “Always Be My Baby” hitmaker began with an Instagram post on Wednesday.
“While we were there, we saw all the festive decor and cheered up! 🎄❄️☃️,” she continued.
Her social media carousel began with a photo of her and her children standing next to President Joe Biden in the Oval Office. Other pictures showed Carey and her two children looking at the decorations of the 18 1/2-foot tree.

“Some of the kids said they’d never seen a tree that big,” the first lady said after receiving the centerpiece just after Thanksgiving.
On Sunday, the Grammy winner also marked another important occasion – by recording her final Christmas concert at Madison Square Garden in New York.

On December 9, Carey treated fans to a surprise appearance by Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson. The trio sang their 2020 song “Oh Santa” during the concert.
“I ended up going to New York because Miss Mariah Carey, she always has big, great ideas, and she came up with the idea of having her Christmas angels, Ariana Grande and myself, as a surprise for her Madison Square Garden performance,” the Respect the actress, 42, said during the episode Show Jennifer Hudson last week. “What a nice surprise that was, because no one knew we were coming.”

She and Wicked the actress, 30, “fled out” because the “We Belong Together” singer wanted them to sing the song live.
“Nobody had any idea we were going to show up, and she was like, ‘My Christmas angels. Where’s JHud? Where’s Ari?’
Carey’s first holiday album, Merry Christmasit was published in 1994. Since then it has been known for being full force for December.
Earlier this month, the icon spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about her 14-city Christmas tour.
“I worked day and night on this,” she said. “I worked with some amazing people on this, like Miss Debbie Allen.” The Glory icon, 73, was the tour’s creative director and choreographer. “I’ll be playing songs I’ve never played before, some duets,” she teased. “I have to keep some surprises in store.”
She also discussed the music she plans to play.
“That song was inspired by songs from the ’50s,” she said of “Christmas Time Is in the Air Again,” a single she wrote while pregnant with twins.
“Some songs like that will give me a feeling of melancholy. But I’m still just soaking it up because I love it so much. On holidays, I like to listen to the songs I grew up with.”
