Mark Wahlberg’s daughter sets high goals.
In a new interview with E! News, Family plan actor, 52, spoke about his 13-year-old daughter Grace’s love of horses and how she has a specific goal in mind when it comes to her journey as a rider.
“My daughter, believe it or not, is more disciplined than I am,” Wahlberg told the newspaper. “I didn’t adopt that kind of discipline until I was in my 30s, and I had to do it because of work.”
“And now she’s doing it alone because she wants to be an Olympian,” he added.

Wahlberg’s comments come as he and wife Rhea Durham have continued to update fans on social media about their daughter’s passion, recently posting about a major event she attended — and earned new ribbons.
“Last day of showing at Nationals,” Durham, 45, wrote on Instagram this month of Grace and her horse. “I’m so proud of you Grace and Bernadette! You did twice as well today at the Kids Mini Grand Prix and Daddy and I almost threw up, but we made it.”
The proud parents have also shared plenty of snaps and photos of their teenage daughter on horseback over the past few months, including a cute horse cake they made for her birthday in January.
Wahlberg and Durham are also parents to sons Brendan (15) and Michael (17) and daughter Ella (20).

Back in June, the actor told PEOPLE about Grace’s love of horses during his Boston pop-up shop for his brand MUNICIPAL. It was then that he discovered his teenage daughter was “the most like me”.
“She’s training now. She’s a rider. Now she wants to go higher in the meters and be a Grand Prix jumper. She has to train,” Wahlberg said.
“She’s doing things that my other kids are now kind of starting to think, ‘Well, we’ve got to start doing something because she’s got it figured out, what she wants to do and how she wants to do it,'” he said. added. “And she gets the job done.”

Wahlberg also revealed that, on that particular day, he called her at 10 a.m. to “catch her before she goes to the barn,” but she was already there on the horse.
“She doesn’t mess around. If you were even thinking about bringing her in late or missing something, that’s a big problem,” Wahlberg said.
