Mark Zuckerberg sees his bunker as really just a “basement”.
The director of Meta spoke with LapEmily Chang on her Hawaii property, which has long been the subject of speculation due to its sheer size and extreme security measures. Zuckerberg, 40, said the bunker was nothing more than a “small shelter,” a basement or hurricane shelter area.

“I think the whole thing is overblown, like the whole ranch is some kind of doomsday bunker,” he said of his Hawaii property. – That is simply not true.
In the interview, Zuckerberg said he was ranching in Kauai. He wants to create “the best quality beef in the world,” he said, which includes a vertical integration plan — including growing macadamia nuts on site and brewing beer because it increases the cows’ appetite.

The billionaire’s comments on animal husbandry point to some of the findings in the Wired2023 investigations into his property in Hawaii. In addition to various agricultural facilities, the complex has a collection of 11 treehouses connected by rope bridges, an underground bunker with metal doors filled with concrete, and several guest houses.
The primary structures are two villas, the paper reported, which are expected to include a “gym, swimming pools, sauna, hot tub, cold pool and tennis court.”

Bunker, according to Wiredit has 5000 square meters and is connected to two villas by a tunnel. It contains space for mechanical equipment, living quarters and an escape hatch, and its doors will be similar to those found in bomb shelters.
According to Wired, Zuckerberg’s estate has caused tension among local residents and indigenous groups on the island. Although he and his family contributed to local charities and community programs, their presence remained controversial.
