Marta follows Stewart from her time as a teenage model to becoming America’s first self-made billionaire.
“I’m strict and I’m demanding and I’m all the good things that make a successful person,” Stewart says in the trailer for the doc.
The film makes many revelations including that she was unfaithful to her ex-husband Andy Stewart, who also cheated on her.
“Young women, listen to my advice, if you are married and your husband starts cheating on you, he is one with…” she says in the film. “Get out of that marriage.”
The producer then asks, “Didn’t you have an affair early on?”
“Yeah, but I don’t think Andy ever knew about it,” she admits.
After marrying in 1961, the couple were married for nearly three decades and had a daughter, Alexis Stewart, in 1965. They divorced in 1990.

The lifestyle icon also talks about his time in federal prison during the film. She spent five months behind bars in 2004 after being found guilty of charges including conspiracy and obstruction of justice related to the stock sale.
“I was a trophy for these idiots,” Stewart says in the trailer. “They dragged me to solitary confinement, without food or water. Those prosecutors should have been put in a Cuisinart and fired.”
The film also covers her return after being released from prison.
“A cookie-cutter house and a cookie-cutter life were not for me,” she says. “I could have simply been a poor, former housewife, but I didn’t allow myself to do that. And I’m so glad I didn’t.”
