Jacqueline Coley of Rotten Tomatoes broke the news on Twitter on Wednesday, stating that the actor informed her during an interview to promote his upcoming film, No, that he would not be part of the Marvel film’s ensemble cast.
A year after the film’s debut, the sequel to Black Panther was officially launched in 2019. However, due to the untimely death of star Chadwick Boseman in August 2020, the film’s producers were forced to make significant adjustments. Filming was reportedly made more difficult by the COVID-19 epidemic. According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the stars, Letitia Wright, was injured during filming in November 2021, further delaying the project. Filming began in January 2022 and ended two months later in March. Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright and Angela Bassett star in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The film is slated to release on November 11, 2022.

Universal Pictures released the final trailer for the film on June 9, 2022, providing a glimpse into Peele’s distinct vision. Along with the teaser, Universal Pictures’ official YouTube account posted a short synopsis that reads:
“With Get Out, and then with us, Academy Award® winner Jordan Peele revolutionized and reinvented contemporary horror. Now, he’s reimagining the summer blockbuster with a new pop nightmare: No, a sprawling horror epic.”
According to the description,
The film reunites Peele with Oscar® winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and Oscar® nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja) as the inhabitants of a lonely inland gorge of California witnessing a gruesome and gruesome discovery,’ the press release said.
