Matthew McConaughey is one proud dad!
The Attorney Lincoln actor shared two rare photos of his 14-year-old daughter Vida on her birthday on Thursday. Alongside the beautiful, candid pictures, the actor’s heartfelt caption read: “Look, who never passed a flower she didn’t pick, happy birthday.”
The 54-year-old’s daughter’s special day was actually January 3, not January 4 when he shared the pictures with his 9.3 million Instagram followers. But the actor quickly explained the delay!
“It was a day late because my mobile device flew out of my pocket on the roller coaster yesterday at her birthday party,” he added, sharing how the family marked Vida’s special day.

One of McConaughey’s pictures shows a teenage girl in a field wearing an oversized plaid shirt, while another shows her enjoying a beautiful sunset while wearing a tie-dye tracksuit and white sneakers.
Fans and followers were quick to point out Vid’s striking resemblance to her mum, Brazilian model Camila Alves McConaughey, 40 – who Matthew married in 2012.
“God does she look like her mom,” one fan commented, while another added “Camilla is a mini me” and a third said “She’s a carbon copy of Camilla.”

In addition to Vida, the actor and model have sons Levi (15) and Livingston, who turned 11 last month.
βDouble, we love watching you grow. Thank you for putting so many smiles on our faces. love, Papa’s,” Matthew wrote on Instagram at the time, along with a photo of Livingston sitting on his lap. Meanwhile, Camila reposted a carousel of photos of son Levi, adding her sweet caption.
“”Soβ¦ When your oldest son has such a great post for his younger brothers birthday, I give up on coming up with my own!ππ post it again!β she wrote, adding, βToday we’re celebrating, our youngest, turns 11!!! He brought so much joy and learning into our lives. It’s hard to put into words!!”
And proving they are a close family, Levi shared a touching tribute to his father on his 54th birthday in November.

“People know Matthew McConaughey as an actor and now a writer, but I know him as my father,” the teenager began in his caption, which accompanied a carousel of family photos. “A man who always makes time for us no matter what, a man who is always there for us no matter what and a man who taught me to appreciate the journey, not just the destination.”
Finally, Levi wished his dad the best, concluding, “The journeys have just begun…Happy Birthday Papa.”
When she turned 13, Vida’s mom paid tribute to her daughter on social networks. Celebrating the new teenager with a snap with actor Woody Harrelson, Camila joked: “Uncle @woodyharrelson is questioning if the cake is vegan or not!!! π«£π.”
She continued: “How is this going people! Time fliesβ¦ 13! You are my ray of sunshine Vida!!! Your name explains everything about you, ‘life’ (#tb at her birthday celebration on our family vacation on January 3rd) ππ ππππππππππ.”
