The scripted reality series will end after two seasons on the streaming platform. Deadline first reported the news on Friday, August 16.
The series premiered in 2022, and the second season was announced in March. He followed Maurici Umansky’s family real estate company, The Agency. The deal “features some of the most lavish real estate in Beverly Hills,” according to the official synopsis.

Umansky’s estranged wife Kyle Richards, their daughter Alexia, 28, and Richards’ daughter Farrah, 35, also starred in the series. The The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 55, was only present in the second season.
Sources told Deadline that the cancellation had to do with viewership versus production costs.

By the time the second season rolled around, much of Umansky, 54, and Richards’ marital problems played out on camera.

In one episode, news of their split became public during a family trip to Aspen, meaning the parents had to find a way to discuss the situation with their children. Despite their 27-year marriage coming to an end, the two were still happy with each other.
“I’ll get that in the divorce,” Umansky joked to the Bravo star after she donned the apron. “That’s my apron. You can borrow it for now.”

“You can have it,” she replied, “That’s all you get.”
Finally, during the trip, they found time to start discussing this topic with their daughters.
“We should talk about it now that we’re all here. Because when we showed up out of the blue, it blindsided us all. I know it was a lot,” Richards said.

She added: “I’m really sorry about that because it’s not fair to you. I’m just used to it.”
Their daughter Sophia, 24, said it was difficult for the family to hear the news because they were not the first to hear it from the source.
“This time it was different because everyone was reaching out. My phone was blowing up with people calling. I opened up instagram and it was everywhere. It was definitely hard to feel like maybe I don’t know the whole story,” she said.

Other storylines in the second season focused on new cast member Michelle Schwartz making scathing comments about the leadership abilities of the Umansky and Richards daughters.
While discussing how the girls could one day take over the family business, Schwartz said they’re “very capable of selling real estate,” but because they “have a silver platter and a last name, they don’t have to work as hard as I did.”
Buying Beverly Hills seasons one and two are currently streaming on Netflix.
