Mayuri was born on Thursday, September 3, 1992 (28 years old in 2020) and her birthplace is Dhule, Maharashtra. Her star sign is Virgo. She attended school at Rishi Vidyalaya Gurukulam in Visakhapatnam and GD Somani Memorial High School in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. Later, she attended Padmashree Dr DY Patil Dental College and Hospital in Navi Mumbai and the University of Mumbai.

Relationship with husband
On January 20, 2016, she married Marathi actor Ashutosh Bhakre, who acted in the Marathi film Ecchar Tharla Pakka (2012). After suffering from severe depression for a long time, Ashutosh Bhakre committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Maharashtra on July 29, 2020.

Mayuri started her career as a theatre artist in 2011. She has acted in many popular Marathi plays including Pleasant Surprise (2016), Dear Aajo (2018) and Teesre Badshah Hum (2019).
She made her debut as an actress in the Marathi film Dr Prakash Baba Amte: The Real Hero in 2014 as Mayuri. Other Marathi films she has acted in are 31 Divas (2018), Grey (2019) and Lagna Kallol (2019). Apart from theatre and films, she has also acted in television serials such as Khulta Kali Khulena (2016) as Manasi and Imlie (2020) as Malini.
