- Kango Mayuri revealed in an interview that she started acting in dramas since she was a child. She said that because her mother was a theater artist, she followed her mother into the theater world and became interested in acting ever since.
- She revealed in an interview that she had passed the entrance exam to the Indian Institutes of Technology but later decided to pursue a career in acting at the age of 15; however, she left the film industry in 2007 and started working in corporate companies.
- After getting married in 2003, Kango moved to the United States, where he worked from 2004 to 2012. In 2012, after the birth of her son, she moved back to India.
- She believes film actors should complete their studies and have a backup option before quitting the film industry. She said of this in an interview:
People should complete their studies before coming to Bollywood in search of their big break. Especially for actresses, their acting careers only last about ten years. There is a backup option. ”
