Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal Recreate the Iconic Fake Orgasm Scene from When Harry Met Sally for Hellmann's 2025 Super Bowl Ad (Exclusive)

Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal have returned to Katz’s Deli – and we will have what they have.

Over 35 years after When Harry met Sally They introduced one of the most popular scenes in the history of ROM-com, Ryan and Crystal gathered again in the Super Bowl commercial for Hellmann’s.

The ad see the couple revived the title characters of 1989 film in New York City Deli, where Harry says Sally, “I can’t believe they let us go to this place.”

“Why?” Sally asks, which he replies, “Hi …”

“No one remembers that,” Sally insists.

Of course, they refer to the classic movie moment in which Harry says that she does not believe that no woman he slept with has ever fallen an orgasm and Sally continues to offer a convincing demonstration in the middle of a restaurant. “I’ll have what she has,” Deadpans is a colleague of Trpezar. (Trivia Alert: In fact, the mother of director Rob Reiner, Estelle, who delivers now a famous line.)

The ad then shows that the duo is a bit of a sandwiches, but Sally admits he doesn’t do it. ”

Decision? Sally squeezes a healthy serving of the Hellmann mayonnaise on her rye bread and signals her approval by repeating her famous appearance with the dense. “This one is real,” Billy notes. Actress Sydney Sweeney Real Cameo to deliver the entrance phrase “I’ll have what she has.”

Crystal tells people that time was correct to re -review the beloved movie, written by the late Nora Ephron.

“It was our 35th anniversary of the movie and we were offered something for the first time,” he says. “It was a really fun idea, and the approach was right.”

“They were so respected on the movie and on the scene,” Ryan tells the Hellmann people. “They came to us with only a huge amount of respect accordingly, the original material and the characters.”

And as for sitting over the table on each other on the famous Nyc Delc, Crystal says, “He felt the same.”

Ryan remembers the recording for the original scene of Katza, which lasted “all day”, during which she experienced “a lot of anxiety and nerves”.

“At first it was like,” Oh, what sounds will you be? “All levels. I don’t know if I will get help,” he recalls.

Fortunately, Reiner offered her abundance of guidelines. “Rob had so many significant and interesting sounds to encourage me,” Ryan says.

Crystal remembers, “He did one and took me to the side and said,” Oh, I didn’t need to do it. I just had an orgasm in front of my mother. ”

Both actors agreed that Sweeney had done a line in the commercial.

“She’s cute,” says Crystal about Anyone but you star. “It’s a big deal. It’s an iconic line and it’s a great honor to do it. And a heavy burden.”

“It was a game, fun, loose and bowling alley, and it seemed to explode while she was there,” Ryan adds. “She’s a completely nice person.”

The couple also thought about why Katz’s scene still echoed in pop culture for more than three decades.

“Then no one ever tried to talk about it,” Crystal says, noting that he developed from a scenario meeting, during which the “concept of women of fake orgasm” appeared. “I think it just needed a breath.”

Ryan says “it’s really just a well -built scene.”

“It pays off the way Sally’s Funny is beevioral, Harry’s is ridiculously verbal and reactive,” she explains. “That was important, as Billy reacted to her. So he just somehow pulled everything together in one scene, all about the characters and somehow fulfilled the promise of a premium.”

“And she teaches him a lesson at the same time,” Crystal adds. “And she doesn’t care where she is, she doesn’t care what people look at.”

Teaser for the Hellmann’s advertisement, published last week, paid tribute to Sally’s notoriously detailed order of ordering when eating.

“I didn’t know you could order that until I played Sally,” Ryan says. “I didn’t realize he could be so specific. When I was in New York, I never did it.

“It was a real Nora,” Crystal Notes of Ephron.

“She made it more permissible,” Ryan adds.
