Meghan Markle Recreates One of Her Own Most Memorable Looks on Prince Harry’s 39th Birthday

Meghan Markle is all about monochrome at the Invictus Games, and her latest outfit choice looks very familiar.

On Friday – which was Prince Harry’s 39th birthday – the couple attended the sitting volleyball final at the Merkur Spiel-Arena. After wearing trousers with a blazer earlier in the day, Meghan, 42, changed into a denim shirt by Carolina Herrera.

The Duchess of Sussex’s look was reminiscent of one of her previous outfits from another sporting event: the denim midi dress also by Caroline Herrera that she wore to support Prince Harry at the Sentebale charity polo match in July 2018.

Although the dresses are from the same designer, there were some subtle differences. Meghan’s 2018 version had a traditional belt around the waist, while the new piece had a tie belt. In addition, the outfit worn at the Invictus Games had a two-tone effect, with the lower part of the dress a different blue color than the rest, as well as the buttons down the front.

Prince Harry made his own style statement at the event, wearing a black polo shirt emblazoned with the Invictus Games logo. The Duke of Sussex, who served in the British Army for 10 years, created the program for injured, sick and wounded soldiers and veterans, and the first event was held in 2014.
