Mehuli Ghosh is an Indian sports shooter who has represented India in several international youth shooting championships around the world. She made headlines on July 13, 2022, when she and shooting partner Shahu Tushar Mane won the gold medal in the 10m air rifle mixed team finals at the ISSF Shooting World Cup in Changwon, South Korea.

Mehuli Ghosh was born on Monday, November 20, 2000, in Kalyani, West Bengal (age 21; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Scorpio. She completed her school education from Techno India Group Public School, Chinsurla, Hooghly. According to Mehuli Ghosh, in 2013, she started watching rifle shooting and swimming on national television. The next year, her father worked hard to raise money to enroll her in the Serampore Rifles Club in West Bengal so that Mehuli could continue her sporting career. She said in an interview with the media,

I find shooting interesting because it is not a well known sport. Then I started collecting news and other relevant information about the shooting. My father was a casual employee of the West Bengal government and it took him a year to raise enough money to allow me to pursue my passion. Then I joined Serampore Rifles Club in 2014. “

Some time after joining the Serampore Rifle Club, Mehuli Ghosh accidentally hit the club staff with a rifle bullet during practice. Soon, she was banned from the club. Later, she started training in rifle shooting under former Indian Olympic finalist and Arjuna Award winner Joydeep Karmarkar and joined Karmarkar) Shooting Academy and Club.

In 2016, Mehuli Ghosh began participating in India’s national shooting competitions. In 2016, she won two gold medals and seven silver medals at the Indian National Shooting Championships in Pune. Subsequently, she participated in multiple national youth shooting championships in 2017 and won eight gold medals and three bronze medals. In the same year, Mehuli Ghosh participated in the Youth Shooting Championship in the Czech Republic and finished seventh. She participated in the 2017 World Youth Shooting Championships in Germany and finished 17th. At the end of 2017, she participated in the Asian Championships held in Wako City, Japan, and scored 420.1 points in the 10m rifle shooting event. After winning this competition, she qualified for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. Mehuli Ghosh is the winner of two World Cup medals at the ISSF World Cup in Mexico. After winning these medals, she became one of the youngest Indian players to win these medals. She then competed in the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. In 2018, Mehuli Ghosh finished seventh at the Junior Shooting Championship in the Czech Republic. During these tournaments, she was the only Indian shooter to reach the finals of the tournament. That same year, she competed in the ISSF World Cup Championships and won two bronze medals. The following year, Mehuli Ghosh won a gold medal at the South Asian Games in Nepal.
