Melanie Lynskey Thanks Husband Jason Ritter for ‘Loving Me So Fiercely’ in Touching Valentine’s Day Tribute

Melanie Lynskey celebrates her love for husband Jason Ritter!

On Valentine’s Day, the two of them announced what they love most about each other in posts on Instagram.

In a photo of a couple recreating an American Gothic image, Yellow jackets star, 46, listed all the things she’s thankful her husband, 43, does in their relationship — including being “sweet.”

“Thank you @jason_ritter for making me laugh everyday; doing my best to remember to do the things that make my life easier; you have been working hard on yourself for the past ten years and making all this possible; wanting to hear stories about every single thing that happened while I wasn’t with you,” the actress wrote.

She continued: “Making fun of me in a way that makes me feel seen and celebrated and makes me cry with laughter; being the best dad our sweet daughter could ever have; always choosing to watch reality shows even though you’d rather be watching documentaries; being extremely kind to everyone person you come across; loving me so fiercely and unconditionally that it literally changed me as a human being and allowed me to love myself too.”

“I love you, Dringus,” concluded the Emmy nominee.

Ritter responded to his wife’s heartfelt message, writing, “I’ve really grown to love reality shows. I love you so much, thank you for this sweetness!!”

The Raising Dion the actor wrote his own message on Instagram, accompanied by a close-up of a picture of the couple on a slide – where Lynskey doesn’t look as pleased as her smiling husband.

“Happy Valentine’s Day to the most beautiful person who ever existed. Thank you for being who you are, thank you for loving me in such a way that you inspired me to take off the mask I can sometimes wear in the world and let me show you the parts of me that even I was afraid to look at. (And also, I’m sorry you had to see all that stuff 😅) I love you with all my heart and you and our daughter make coming home the most joyous experience a person could wish for,” Ritter wrote.

“Not a day goes by that I’m not grateful and I don’t feel like the luckiest person in the world. Thank you for going on this rollercoaster ride with me (see image for metaphor), I know it can be a bit awkward and scary, especially when you’re sitting next to a person who has memorized where all the cameras are.”

He concluded: “I love you forever, you are that for me. Thank you for this happiness ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

“I love you so much Dringus,” Lynskey wrote in the comments section. “This is the only rollercoaster I’m on (but hopefully all the sudden falls are over now)! I’m so grateful ❤ thank you for this life and this sweet post.”

The couple first met while acting in Big question 2013 and shortly after that they started dating.
