After completing her studies at Adnan Menderes University, she began performing occasionally on the streets of Kadikoy-Beşiktaş, Istanbul. At the same time, she also organized piano, flute, sight-singing, ear training, harmony and other music courses for school students. Later, Melek founded the band “Zbam The Band” with her friends, where she served as the lead singer and flutist. Her band subsequently performed at various music competitions in Turkey.
