Meninder Dhaliwal (1993-2022) was a Canadian gangster and member of the Brothers Keeper gang. He was shot and killed on July 24, 2022, in the Canadian village of Whistler. Menid is of Indian descent.

Parents and siblings
Not much is known about his parents. He has two brothers. His eldest brother Barinder Shrek Dhaliwal is a gangster and a member of Brother’s Keepers. His elder brother Harpreet Harb Dhaliwal is also a gangster and belongs to the Brothers Keepers gang. Hubb was shot and killed on April 17, 2022, in Coal Harbour, Vancouver, Canada.

Meninder Dhaliwal has links to the Brothers’ Keepers gang operating out of Vancouver, Canada. In 2012, Dhaliwal and his brothers joined three other notorious gang members from Abbotsford, Jonathan, Jarrod and Jamie Bacon. A connection was made and he later joined the gang. As a member of the gang, he was involved in a number of criminal activities including illegal possession of firearms, robbery, homicide, homicide, and extortion.

On July 24, 2022, Meninder Dhaliwal and his friend Satindera Gill (not a member of the Brothers Keepers gang) were shot and killed near the Sundial Hotel in the popular Canadian ski town of Whistler Village. Menid died on the spot, while his friend Sadindela succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. According to some sources, both men were shot multiple times. In a media interview, Scott Cargo, an employee at a nearby bicycle shop, said he was standing outside the store when he heard gunshots. He added,
It was like 10 shots, rapid fire. I’ve lived in Kelowna for 30 years and have heard gunshots before. “
He further described the incident, saying:
Then this 10-year-old kid ran past our store and said “Someone’s shooting in there,” and he kept running. I said, “You can come in.” But he just kept going. “
A burning vehicle, linked to the murder, was later found in the 3300 block of Ptarmigan Place. Hours after the incident, a gruesome video of Menid and his friend lying face down in a pool of blood began circulating on social media. In addition to the video, several photos of police stopping a car near Squamish have circulated online. Police say the murder is related to an ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict. An investigating police officer said in an interview with the media:
Due to the dynamic response of officers and rapid evidence collection, Haitian RCMP were able to locate and arrest multiple individuals. Although this was a brazen shooting that occurred during daylight hours in a busy village, due to the quick response of members of the Haitian RCMP, it is not believed to pose any further risk to the public. “
In a media conversation, speaking about the murder scene photos, Vancouver Police Chief Adam Palmer said:
The photos we are releasing today represent those who pose a significant public safety risk in the City of Vancouver. “

- In June 2021, Meninder Dhaliwal and his brother Barinder Shrek Dhaliwal were included in the list of “most dangerous gangs” released by the Vancouver police. Police have released a list of six dangerous gangsters, including Menid, his brother Balinder and four other Indo-Canadians, asking the public to avoid them.
