He spent two seasons in the National League as well, where he excelled while the team was in the fifth division.
The former Norwich player played 47 times in the National League North for them last season, scoring four goals in the process. He was also named to the divisional team of the year. After leaving Carrow Road, he spent time in Boston, Histon, and Lowestoft before joining the Linnets.
With Clunan declaring: “I’m excited to take on a new challenge, meet all the boys, and get things started,” the Iron bested rival clubs for the player.
“It’s a sizable football team, and National League North is not where it belongs. That is the goal, which we aspire to accomplish.
