Biography of Michael Connelly
Michael Connelly was born on July 21, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to parents W. Michael Connelly and Mary Connelly. He was the second oldest of four children. When Michael was 12 years old, his family moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In the secondary school of St. Thomas Aquinas completed his education.
When he was 16, his interest in crime and mysteries became stronger. This happened when he witnessed a man who threw an object into a hedge one day on his way home from work. He went there to look and discovered a gun wrapped in a lumberjack’s shirt. He called the police, but the man had already left. He graduated from the University of Florida, where he majored in journalism and creative writing.
