Michael Jackson evoked by Theresa May and Angela Merkel thanks to weird optical illusion

THERESA May and Angela Merkel look to be doing a killer dance move in a picture which has grabbed the attention of Twitter today.

If you are now humming the chorus of Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal then you are exactly right.

The way they appear to be leaning together on a red carpet in Berlin has reminded people of the Jacko and his dancers in the pop video.

The picture was taken before their meeting in Berlin back in July when the new PM met up with some of Europe’s most important leaders to talk Brexit.

And now people have embraced the optical illusion caused by all the lines at different angles in the photograph and had some Friday fun.

While most people think of Michael Jackson, Twitter user @Manish_05Singh thought they looked more like the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
