Mickey, Minnie and the gang just debuted their new fall looks, and they’re totally charming — and a little bit famous.
Disneyland’s main mice, as well as Chip, Dale and Pluto, showed off their OOTS (outfits of the season) — which they’ll be wearing at the Grand Californian Hotel — in an Instagram post on Tuesday, September 3.
For Fall 2024, gone are the classic red shorts and polka dots. Instead, the characters have very contemporary styles as apple picking and pumpkin spice season descends.
Commenters pointed out that layers and knits aren’t exactly appropriate yet since high temperatures in Anaheim are forecast to reach 100 degrees, but certain fashion choices were what gave PEOPLE editors pause. Although the characters often dress up for special occasions — check out their sparkly ear-shaped formal wear for Disney World’s 50th anniversary — their fall look is just that. . . normal?

Mickey, for his part, is just a guy. Give it a hipster vibe with a graphic tee that supports a local apple picking business, a quilted jacket and a yellow knit cap. The main mouse could just as easily be headed to a microbrewery or a bike ride through Brooklyn as a meet and greet outside Sleeping Beauty’s castle.

Minnie, on the other hand, wears an orange plaid circle skirt — her signature silhouette — topped with a pumpkin-patterned sweater with big, wide sleeves and a beret paired with a velvet bow (very demure). The contemporary look serves a venti crisp macchiato with apples and oat milk before heading to HomeGoods on Sunday afternoon. After all, it is already the “autumn of Christian girls” and if this Minnie could talk, she would surely tell you that she is successful when she cools down a bit. Her fall decorating box came out of the attic just before Labor Day.

Chip and Dale are country creatures, but this fall, their adorable retro puffy vests with velvet accents look like they could be sitting at the booth of your favorite farmer’s market, perhaps selling small amounts of syrup through an embroidered maple leaf on the sleeve. They have layers with henleys underneath for a touch Property Brothers or Mutt Schitt chic.

Pluto kept it relatively simple with an elegant silk scarf tied around his neck and illustrated with what looks like some California scenery and a chunky pumpkin patch on the collar. American Horror Story fans might recognize the font of his name, which bears an uncanny resemblance to the show’s title style — perhaps a subtle nod to the creepy season. Disney is the parent company of FX after all, even if they don’t get into horror in the family parks.
Disney fans couldn’t get enough of the look in the comments on the park’s post.
“Pumpkin purse! Hat! Vests! I can’t,” wrote one commenter. “I love this outfit so much! so cute!!” added another.

“LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I want to wear Minnie’s clothes!” one fan shared, while others chimed in to say they’ve already booked a visit with the newly kitted-out squad.
Anyone who loves the fall look can see them IRL at “Mickey’s Fall Adventures” at the Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa now through November 18th.
