Milind Soman was born on November 4, 1965 in Glasgow, Scotland (UK). In addition to being a successful film actor and model, he is also a talented athlete.

Milind has a fit body with a bust size of 40 inches, waist size of 32 inches, biceps of 14 inches and weight of 75 kg. His height of 5 feet 11 inches and a healthy physique brought him many modeling assignments and film contracts. His flexibility earned him a reputation in the sports world.
family, caste and wife
He grew up in a well-educated Brahmin Hindu family, his grandparents were doctors, his father the late Prabhakar Soman was a nuclear scientist and his mother Usha was a biochemist. He has three sisters: Netra (elder), Medha (elder) and Anupama (younger).
He was close to model Madhu Sapre who participated in the Miss India beauty pageant in 1992 but broke up with her soon after. In 2006, he met French actress Myne Jampanoi on the set of the movie “Flower Valley”. In the same year, they got married in Goa. However, due to unstable feelings, the two decided to divorce in 2009.
He has also been romantically linked to model/actor Dipanita Sharma, actress Gul Panag and actress Shahana Goswami. After 2014, he fell in love again with Ankita Konwar, a 27-year-old flight attendant from Assam.

Profession
Milind studied at Dr. Antonio Da Silva High School and Junior Business College, Dadar, Mumbai. He then obtained his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from MH Saboo Siddik Institute of Technology, Byculla.
He started his modeling career in 1988 at “Graviera Suitings”. After working in the modeling industry in the 1990s, he starred in Captain Viom (Hindi, 1998), The Sky (1995, English) and Margarita (1997, Hindi) and other TV series. In 1995, he also performed Alisha Chinai’s hit song “Made in India”.
He subsequently starred in the films Tarkieb (Bollywood, 2000), Gandha: The Smell (Marathi, 2009), Hamilton: But If It’s About Your Daughter (2012, English) into the Indian film industry.

In August 1995, two cases were registered against Milind and Madhu Sapre, contestants of the 1992 Miss India beauty pageant, for posing naked with a python wrapped around them in a print advertisement for Tuffs Shoes. Another lawsuit has been filed against an advertising agency over their illegal use of pythons. In 2009, the court acquitted the defendant.
