Corporate magician Jackson Aces has posted a video of an optical illusion that can do something weird to your hand.

“I’m going to make your palm move,” Ace said.
To do this, Aces said, all you have to do is watch a simple video.
He shared a video of black and white moving optical illusions.
In the center of the illusion was a circle with changing letters.
“Look how the letters change.”
The magician said that you don’t have to memorize any letters, you just have to observe them.
– You can blink, it’s okay.
Aces said to watch the center of the illusion for about a minute, until he tells you to stop.
After a minute, he told me to look directly at the palm of your hand.
The trick is to make it look like your palm is moving, even though it isn’t.
“It will look like your palm is melting,” he said.
According to the Queensland Brain Institute, optical illusions work because our brain “thinks the eyes have told it something is moving, but that’s not what the eyes were meant to tell the brain.”
“Optical illusions occur when our brain and eyes try to communicate with each other in simple language, but the interpretation gets a bit confused.”
